Niche Marketing Is The Secret To Success For Many

Sunday, April 27th, 2008

Niche marketing is a little bit tricky, tricky because finding your niche is the secret to your success. And without the right resources, it’s nearly impossible to totally dominate your niche. Niche marketing is the opposite of mass (general) marketing.

It targets specific people with special needs. Niche marketing is often overlooked in many Native American casinos. However, ethnic or niche marketing may be worth the extra effort involved since their revenues have the potential to yield much needed incremental profits.

This is the ideal choice for new internet marketers who don’t have a lot of money or are limited in time. A major retail store would cost a lot of money for merchandise and require a ton of effort to be put forth.

Niche marketing is earmarked by small, specialized market segments. It is the process of focusing on a product or service that mainstream businesses usually choose to bypass on account of what they consider slim profit potentiality; and as a matter of course, makes the niche available to the small businessman.

This type of marketing is fun because it allows you to tap into your specific interests and areas of expertise. Because you enjoy learning about the niche, developing relevant marketing and sharing important information with others, you will be more likely to do it, happier when doing it and excited to interact with the target consumers.

This type of marketing is not a fleeting strategy. You are not acquiring leads you have no connection to. Niche marketing is being used a lot by businesses to help them succeed in the over crowded Internet marketplace. The Internet has allowed for business start up being easy and makes running an online business almost automatic. Niche Marketing is the concept of targeting a specific group or audience.

This marketing is all about leverage. You are using your niche to leverage your position in the marketplace beyond where you would have been without the niche. Niche marketing is not something new. Savvy entrepreneurs always sell to niches. It is finding small areas of the business markets which command a special area of interest and customer demand. A small slice of the pie in the capital markets which huge corporations have no interest in.

Niche marketing is everywhere, from hotels to restaurants to retail. The mistake most people make is to assume that the key element is price, with one example designed to appeal to the more affluent consumer. Niche marketing is an important aspect of any company’s success whether they are local or international.

Don’t be a procrastinator who says, if at first I don’t succeed, theres always next year. Thats not a likely scenario. Niche marketing is a marketing segmentation strategy in which a company focuses on serving one segment of the market. A niche is a small distinguishable segment that can be uniquely served.

Niche marketing is also quite affordable compared to mass marketing, the marketing strategy at the very opposite end of the spectrum. Since only a small portion of the market is being addressed, smaller costs are at stake to go about the promotional campaign.

This type of marketing is selective targeting of a specific group of consumers and focusing our marketing to them. Coca Cola is a good example of niche marketing. It marketing is just finding a product or service that appeals to a specific audience. For instance a niche market would be selling diet books.

It is definitely not stupid. It depends what your trying to do. Niche marketing is the opposite of mass (general) marketing. It targets specific people with specialized needs. Niche marketing is basically marketing your website to a particular group of people in one area. For example you decide to write an information product on how to build a pond; this is called a niche market.

Don’t Be Blinded by Spreadsheet Illusions of a Golden Future

Saturday, April 26th, 2008

Blinded by misleadingly reassuring memories of past successes that are buttressed by spreadsheet promises of prosperity, company leaders often grope their way into unseen danger and disaster. At best, they just waste their time and some money. Meanwhile, the company executives overlook vast, reliable paths to future success all around them.

One secret of advancing toward the ultimate competitive advantage is to do more of what works and less of what does not. And the one thing I’ve found that works most often is continual business model innovation developed through an effective process.

Such innovations almost always lower the enterprise’s needless costs for stakeholders, and, more importantly, they deliver more customer benefits at the same time.

Work on improving the performance of existing business models often does the opposite because such performance-improving plans generally call for cutting resources while attempting to keep customer benefits unchanged. In this pursuit, customer benefits usually decline due to disruptions from the change and the reduced resource level.

How does providing a successful business model innovation create multiplied benefits for all concerned? For one thing, customers like the new model better. Fewer go to a competitor. They tell their friends, which makes it easier to get more customers.

Employees enjoy their work more and aren’t as inclined to leave you. Partners see you as a source of valuable ideas that they have a hard time successfully generally for themselves. Your innovations draw their attention and support.

Suppliers gain more business and find you more open to new ideas. They bring you their best innovations first.

Shareholders like the more rapid growth in revenues and earnings. They will hold their stock and may buy more when prices dip. Potential shareholders will be intrigued and buy in also. Your stock-price multiple will rise.

You can use that stock rise to reward employees better through prior grants of lower-priced stock options, and you can also sell stock to raise capital less expensively to grow your business and to acquire other businesses. You can also sell high-priced shares to retire debt and raise cash to help you weather bad times.

The communities you serve will prosper and be proud of you. When you need cooperation for an improvement such as enhancing local public education to ensure a better workforce, citizens will seek to speed up the change process because they are in partnership with you. With each successful innovation, these connections and mutual support increase.

Is Your Work – Work Or Play?

Saturday, April 26th, 2008

Are you struggling in your home based business? Do you feel that each hour that passes is a long stretch? Is your work – work or is it like play? Your response to these questions can determine were you will be in 5, 4, 3, even 1 year from now in your home business. Here is why.

Do you remember having a job where you always checked the time? Whatever was going on, you just was there for the money? Did this job work out for a long time? If you are saying ‘yes, years’, then I am sure you are pretty stressed in that job. However, this is what many people do with a home business opportunity.

How many people get lured into a home business opportunity without thinking about the actual day to day business of that home business? They jump in, and jump back out quick as they got in. They will move forward through life cursing every business opportunity they see, and the recommendation to others is that they are scams.

If we take a deeper look into this, we will find that it is the chasing the money is the cause of the problem. Likewise, if you get into a home business opportunity and it feels like work, then it is unlikely you will succeed.

Imagine for a moment 2 people. One person loves video games, and constantly is at the arcade, constantly playing until the owner says its time to close. The other joins a home business opportunity – knows nothing of the product, has no interest in it, but wants to become a millionaire. Though these 2 examples are of different natures, they both relate to what we are really talking about, and that is action, and the motivation to act, and keep at it till you succeed.

Now the video game player wants a million points, and the person in the business opportunity wants a million also. One may be digital in nature, while another is ‘real reality’ though they both have to labor for it, they must take persistent action.

The video game player plays, and the owner has to kick him out, when the time passes past closing time. The person in the home business wants to finish as quickly as possible. The result is that the video game player wins, while the home business person has to soon find a job, and still be stuck in something they don’t want to do.

Is work – work or is work play? This is important. Many a successful business person and I don’t mean the manager who would want you to believe the work – work part, but the real owner. The biggest successes in life get paid more, and live an amazing life. Yes, it is down to a lot of effort, but if you can’t see time fly when you are in the action, it is unlikely you will succeed.

I can be proved wrong, and you just may be a success, and yes, you may just hate what you do, but is it worth it? A simple shift of doing what you feel passionate about would enable the time to fly, and you will likely live a more enjoyable and fun lifetime.

Considering that our day to day activity or work is one which takes up the biggest portion of our lives, and then it stands to reason to do what you like to do, to play. Motivation becomes less of an issue when you love what you do.

More Ideas For A Website Marketing Strategy

Saturday, April 26th, 2008

The most important part of modern business strategy is to think on a global scale, however this doesn’t mean that businesses can afford to ignore their local market. The world is continually changing. The most noticeable change is perhaps in the way businesses operate; over the past few decades this has changed considerably.

Businesses are able to operate on an international scale fairly easily, but that doesn’t mean that they can lose touch with their local customers. Consumers and businesses can buy any product from anywhere in the world thanks to the internet. Top business strategies include multilingual website marketing and International internet marketing.

Another method would be writing testimonials for services that you used. If you used a product, read a book, you can send a testimonial to the website owner and place a link to your site in the end. The article will be related to your site and it will contain your desired keywords. Increasing your link popularity with this powerful links will give your site great search engine positioning and also lots of targeted visitors. The more difficult way to achieve them is to ask for them over the net. You can spend some time looking for sites that are related to yours and sending an email to the webmasters.

Once you’ve identified your target market, learn the words they use to describe the problems they’re having or the benefits their seeking. With this information you’ll be able to “speak their language” in your website content. Think of them as the group you’re willing to spend money and time on to get their business.

It’s important to understand that even if your services or products can benefit many types of individuals, it is a lot easier to focus your marketing efforts when you have a target audience in mind. Research shows that most buyers use the internet to search for information before they buy. If your website doesn’t provide information to help your visitors in their buying decision they’re most likely to leave without contacting you.

Bear in mind that not all of Europe speaks English, using an English website you can expect to communicate to around 16% of the population, however if you have a German, Spanish, Italian and French website then you can deal with 74.1% of the European market. It can be quite difficult for firms to start competing at an international level. An international marketing strategy has to be developed depending on the products and services which the business intends to offer to their customers. A common strategy will mean that you don’t have to develop strategies for individual markets. International marketing strategies are becoming increasingly important in many businesses all around the globe.

Either you had to buy low-cost tech packages that often employ little more than web graphic tricks, or you had to make a major investment in website technology developed for large corporations. Often unaware of the Fortune 500 level website maintenance costs required. Keep your focus on your customers and prospects. But all too often that website becomes a tool chest of technology challenges. This hosting account is integrated with all the software and tools required to create, operate and update your website, for one year. Its simply the computer on which your website parks in order to be viewed by visitors to the World Wide Web.

Most dealers know the potential of the Internet, but they may not know how to use the Internet to generate the more incremental profit for their dealership. Well, the first step that most dealers take is to build and brand their dealership website.

If you design and build your site with all of these characteristics in mind you will be ahead of most of the dealers out there. However, building and branding a world class website alone is not going to generate results. Although the website is an important component, it is only part of the whole picture. The bottom line is to drive measurable results and profits to your dealership.

A reciprocal link is some kind of agreement between two webmasters. Both of them place on their site a link that points to the other one’s website. This is some kind of win-win situation because both websites benefit form this linking, receiving direct traffic and increasing link popularity. This situation could become really frustrating when you see that you still keep a link for a website but you’re not receiving one back.

Try that with newspapers, TV or radio! You don’t have to make any changes to your website structure or architecture. You don’t have to know how your website is built. And best of all – you only pay when your advertisement is clicked on – not when it is shown. Google’s system also factors Click Through Rate (CTR) in its ranking of advertisements. Search Engine Marketing process is often generically referred to as “pay per click” (PPC) advertising because you only pay when someone clicks on the advertising link, not when your advertisement is displayed.

So what makes a website “popular?” What elevates one guy’s (or gal’s) website over and above the next? Is it that stirring copy? Backlinks are incoming links to a website or web page. The number of backlinks is an indication of the popularity or importance of that website or page. In basic link terminology, a backlink is any link received by a web node (web page, directory, website, or top level domain) from another web node.Backlinks are also called as incoming links, inbound links, inlinks, and inward links.

Many of the sites hosted on a free or low cost service are not being looked at the same way as one being hosted by a reputable service. All aspects of the

There is no one set of rules, but rather many that are continually changing. Unless you or your in-house staff possesses the time, knowledge and persistence to continually monitor these changing rules, your site’s ranking will unquestionably fall into the vastness of the World Wide Web.

Web accessibility issues are often due to inappropriate use of technologies – such as content management systems, security systems and even some dynamically generated site technologies. These technologies can sometimes hinder site access for both search engine spiders and human users.

This is low cost and most effective compared to other forms of online marketing, because you can easily reach the targeted customers who are already in their pro-active state. This means that they are searching for your product or service in the Internet and they are ready to purchase now or in the very near future.

Understanding how different techniques support or sabotage Website marketing strategies can be critical to a site’s success or failure.

Firstly E-mail marketing has to be taken into account as an important strategy. Email marketing is cheap, easy to implement and can be very effective as a direct response tool.

Making Money Online Put Into Perspective

Saturday, April 26th, 2008

The idea of making money online is attractive to many, primarily because of the benefits it offers. Two main incentives are motivational factors here: The lucrative potential of the internet as well as the personal freedom that comes with working without a fixed schedule or geographic location.

Are you willing to learn? Many people who start in the business have no intention of learning anything about html/css, publishing, search engines, css, pings, tags, or anything else. It’s not just possible to make money online, it’s a fact. As long as there’s still gray matter in between your ears, you can come up with anything good to entice shoppers looking for anything and everything on the web.

It’s all about hiring the right people or having enough knowledge and connections within a specific industry. You should do some in depth research before you decide to settle on a specific niche for your business. These can range from e-commerce websites, social communities and information portals to basic landing pages for affiliate programs.

The benefit of get paid to websites is that you don’t need to have your own website or any personal skills at all. The downside is that there are a lot of get-paid-to scams around and finding websites that are legitimate can be fairly difficult.

Many people join affiliate program to make money online. It’s easy and often free to join but it’s a very competitive market.

Different people vist different websites for different reasons. Some people will be just browsing, just surfing around with no specific target in mind whilst others will be looking for specific things.

There are large directory’s full of affiliate programs you can use on your website, such as Amazon, Clickbank and Commission Junction. Ebooks, Courses, Teaching – Building website’s to promote your Ebooks and Courses can be a great way increase sales dramatically! In fact any major competitor in any niche, has brought out there own ebook or course which you apparently can live with out.

Advertising Programs – By far the easiest way to make money from website’s is using advertising programs, simply paste a piece of code and you will have relevant adverts displayed on your website. Everyday there are new advertising program’s boasting the new way to make more money than you can imagine.

It seems that everyone out there knows how to build a website. Everyone knows a little HTML, a little CSS, a bit about promotion and bit (usually a very small bit) about design. But if you stick around a little longer, you will get to know the ropes of this business and find out the things that would work for you or not.

No Secret Formula – Sorry to burst your bubble right there but there is no secret formula at all, you can’t find billions of dollars by purchasing e-books being sold for $3 that claims to be revealing some Top Internet Secrets in Making Money or an auto-Pilot software of sort. Use your common sense do not be scammed.

It can be done on a freelance basis and doesn?t require much skill apart from knowing your way around the net and having the creativity to find ways in which to get a good inbound link to a website. Virtually assist other web workers.

Freelancers and small businesses desperately need help running their businesses, but they’re not about to hire a secretary to come sit in the family room and answer phone calls. Offer your professional expertise in an online marketplace. These days, you can do more than just sell your old books via Amazon and your old Coach handbags via eBay.

Now you can sell your professional capabilities in a marketplace. No longer are you limited to looking for a permanent or contract job on Web 1.0 style job sites like Monster or CareerBuilder.

What about the latest promotion avenues on the web like getting bloggers to create a buzz for your business, posting viral videos, giving away free ebooks, as well as using other types of online social media? Or perhaps, ideas like leaving postcards in books/public transport, holding seminars/talks, visiting schools, etc? If you’re in the U.S., what are you doing to celebrate/observe this occassion.

It’ll be interesting to know what small online business people are planning to do for this event. So, what do you do to promote your online business? Do you use more traditional methods like advertising in newspapers/magazines, giving business cards and giving brochures?

Making money online is a dream for many, but the simple fact is that it’s often just as tough as making money offline. For every brilliant success story, there are countless thousands who fail.In fact, 92% of them fail. Doing business in the online world is complicated and very fluid. Today’s success stories can quickly plummet as new competition with new strategies steals their market shares. Ilan has taken his passion and turned it into several unique product lines. His “A Thousand Things Went Right Today” and “Advice from a Tree” have spawned suites of products such as notecards, journals, bookmarks, and more that now sell in huge volume online as well as through other venues.

Making money online is thought to be a hoax to some people. It seems this way because these people do not know how to go about making money online. When you don’t know what you are doing you will not be able to make any money. Being informed os the key to making money online. There are millions of people across the world that are making money online. Each one of them has their own successful method that they developed over months and maybe even years of trial and error.

Independent Contractor Agreements for Use In Businesses Small and Large

Friday, April 25th, 2008

An independent contractor agreement is drawn up when a person or business is contracted to perform a service independently as an outsider of another person, business, firm or organization that contracts them.

Independent contractors enter into an agreement with a business or firm through a written contract that details the duties, pay, responsibilities, etc of each.

This independent contractor agreement is then executed independently of the business or organization by the independent contractor. In this way independent contractors differ from employees because they are not entitled to typical employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement benefits, social security, etc. They work at their own pace and on their own terms as long as they fulfill the conditions of the contract.

An independent contractor can be any individual or any business that performs services for another person or business under an agreement but is not subject to that person or business in the manner, means, or right to control their performance of those services. The person or business that hires an independent contractor is not themselves liable to others for any acts or omissions carried out by the independent contractor.

The independent contractor is clearly distinguished from an employee who would work on a regular basis for an employer. The independent contractor is responsible for their own income taxes and Social Security. They also do not benefit from an employer’s health plan or retirement benefits and are often not entitled to any workman’s compensation.

A number of factors should be considered when evaluating the position of an individual in relationship to a business in order to determine if they are actually an employee or an independent contractor.

First of all, the degree of control that the company or business exerts over the work of the individual is important. An employer has control of an employee in ways that they do not have control of an independent contractor. If the company has the right to direct and control the individual not only regarding the desired results but in their details, such as the ways and means by which those results need to be accomplished, then the company is exerting control over the individual. This right to control and supervise the details of the work being performed implies an employer to employee relationship. It is the lack of control and immediate supervision by a company that creates the independent contractor status. It is the simple right to this control which is the key factor is determining whether the individual is an independent contractor or employee.

In fact, independent contractors are a legal category of worker clearly defined by the IRS, or Internal Revenue Service. The definition relies on the fact that unlike an employee, an independent contractor can retain control over how exactly the work that they are hired to do is performed. They decide how the work gets done, while the individual or business that is paying them can only control the final product or service.

Of course, there are other factors to consider such as the connection between the individual and the business or company and how regularly they conduct business together.

Mark Warner is a Legal Research Analyst for RealDealDocs.com. RealDealDocs gives you insider access to millions of legal documents drafted by the top law firms in the US. To find Independent Contractor Agreements, click here. Free Search!

How To Acquire A Multi-Million Mindset?

Friday, April 25th, 2008

Have you ever wondered what is the main difference between Bill Gates and you, besides the USD 50 billion?

It is the thoughts that he thinks everyday and the thoughts that you think. It is true. That is it. Your thoughts are the only difference between you and Bill Gates.

It means that you are where you are today because you chose to be there for better or worse. It was your decision and no one else. Not even your circumstances. The thoughts you had led to the decisions you made up to today determined your life right now.

I have heard this so many times. I challenged and argued with it for some time. Guess what? Unless you can finally “get it”, you can achieve the success you are looking for by leaps and bounds.

Why? Because you are what you think. Thoughts are real. They are so real and so powerful. In fact, you use your brain to determine how wealthy you can be. How we live, and what we do, can actually have a profound impact on the physical structure of our brains. If we are what we eat, as the old saying goes, we may also be what we think. Or rather how we think and as well as how much we think.

Like it or not, the Law of Attraction simply says that you attract into your life whatever you think about most. Your dominant thoughts will find a way to manifest what you think of most of the time.

The neat part about this truth is that you are 100% in control of your thoughts. In fact, your thoughts are the only thing in this world you have 100% control over. We may have difficulties in controlling our thoughts at challenging times. That is because we are not “prefect” in our skills in controlling our thoughts.

The biggest factor that will determine if you are successful in your business is whether or not you create a mindset that encourages and empowers you to take the daily actions and disciplines required for success. Only you can decide whether or not you want to train your mind to think like a successful entrepreneur, and hence, become a successful entrepreneur. Your self-talk determines everything. You can talk yourself into success just as easily as you can talk yourself out of it. Whatever you think about and dwell on you will get!

The successful person simply does the things the unsuccessful person makes a conscious decision not to do. Sound familiar? If you are not careful, your mind comes up with logical reasons or excuses to justify them. So ask yourself honestly. Are those truly “real” reasons, or are they really just excuses?

Life gets in the way “or some such “motto”, but the fact is YOU get in your own way.
We tend to excuse ourselves for not following through on what we know we should be doing to succeed. And one excuse leads to another and the “rut” in our life continues.

The resistance thinking also hold true. Most likely, you’ve heard this old phrase…
“That what you resist will persist”

Our beliefs about the environment and the society that surround us, make us think in a certain way, and the way we think draws the people, the situations and the things we experience to our lives.

Consciously, we know the difference between a negative thought and a positive one. However, our subconscious mind cannot discriminate between “yes” and “no.” Our subconscious mind just knows one word and that is “yes.”

When we think “I don’t want to attract more debt” we are creating “resistance” to debt, which in turn makes debt persist. This creates a domino effect. Our thoughts create resistance. Resistance creates stress. Stress consumes energy. And the problem persists.

The domino effect becomes a vicious circle. This is why we feel so weak and with low energy when we feel buried in problems. We are expending energy in a negative way.

Resistance is a struggle. Is like pushing a cart uphill with no help. We struggle when things don’t go our way. So every time we resist something, we are spending our energy in the wrong way. It is much better and much easier indeed to stop resisting what we don’t want and focus on attracting what we do want.

For example, instead of struggling to make more money by getting a second job, try to focus on attracting prosperity by having positive thoughts while working.

This also applies to every other situation in your life, like your relationships with others. When you blame another person for what has happened to you or are angry at somebody, you are creating more of “what you resist persists”, thus preventing new experiences and positive people from arriving into your life.

Remember; always focus on embracing the positive rather than resisting the negative. Releasing negative thoughts of resistance will free your energy to use it in a more positive way. You will feel more energetic, more vibrant and more alive when you focus on what you do want versus what you don’t want.

There is a saying; he who has consistent thoughts about having abundance will be given more consistent thoughts about having abundance. He does not have consistent thoughts about abundance will even have the thoughts of abundance taken away from him.

Why? Consistent thoughts produce a certain pattern of thinking. Patterns of thinking produce beliefs, attitudes and values. Beliefs, attitudes and values produce actions. Actions produce results.
So if you do not have what you want, it is likely your current state of thought is incompatible with your goals.

So how do you become the person you need to be in order to create wealth and abundance in your life? First and foremost, you must train your mind to think differently if you want different results. Not 100% change at once but begin with 1% change and that small change can make a different to your life.

Here are some other suggestions:

1. Introduce others into your world on a daily basis who already have what you want. It is said that you are the sum total of the five people you spend most of your time with.

2. What shows do you watch when you get home? Are they up uplifting and educational?

3. What do you listen to? Self-improvement and business coaching?

4. Do you read books? If so, are they design to educate and empower you?

5. Surround yourself with the presence of successful entrepreneur and network marketer each day in the form of books, audio training and etc.

When you finally accept you already have greatness in you, the truth will empower you to set your mind free from any excuses and justifications that are holding you back from your ultimate potential. Most millionaires are not born. They are self-made most of the time.
