Vending Machine Locating Tips – Know What You Can Offer Beforehand!

If the location asks me some questions about the type of machines or the features of the machines, do I have these answers for them? Okay, like I said earlier, when I would go out to the locations beforehand I would go to the distributor and I would find out what type of machines they had, the features, how many selections, what kind of pop I can put in there, cans or bottles, or a snack machine.

You will want to know how many selections of chips there are, how many rows also how deep do the chips go? Meaning how many chips can be placed in each chip row. As well how many candy bars can I put in?

I always had an idea before I went to the location and made sure that I had this information handy. If they were to ask me some questions, I had that information. You want to do that because if you go up to a location and say well, “I could probably set something up for you. I could find a pop machine,” or “the machine kind of has this,” or “I am not really sure if it can vend a bottle or not, I will have to look into that for you.”

You want to be confident when you go to location. The perception from them is that they want to feel like, “This guy is going to come in here and get the job done right and he knows what he is doing.”

You don’t have to know everything about vending to make it happen, but just remember that perception is important, you want to be able to make them feel comfortable with their choice what they are going to do, so having information ready for them about the features of your vending machines and what you can provide them with is definitely a helpful thing.

Being prepared can go along way even having something like a flyer or business card is acceptable when passing on your information. Plus having a picture of one of your vending machines on the flyer will show them what kind of machine that you will be bringing to their location.

A picture and some basic information about your vending services can go along way.

Plus It’s is going to make them feel more comfortable with their decision that they are making, knowing that you know what you are talking about, and you can get the job done right for them.
